Guest guest
Hello: I have definitely noticed a corrolation between stress and increased pain. I believe there is a connection as we tense up more our bodies tend to react accordingly. A hot bath, a little deep breathing, a funny movie and a limit as to what you are willling to do as the eldest may be helpful. My family is well trained by now and most of the time I don't have to ask they just jump in and it has taken a long time to get that established. I am sorry to hear of the losses in your family. You are of no use to anyone if you cannot take time to take care of you. best wishes.. Alice
Guest guest
Hi all yes stress is a factor in the pain level. I was told my the first neurologist I saw that the first thing to do after an injery is to take the things that cause you stress out of your life. At least he new that this would play a big part in how well I heald and how much pain I would suffer after the injury heald. So there are many Doctors out there that reconise this as a major roll in living with pain. Guest guest
Hi Penny, If I removed all the stress from my life I'd have no wife, no kids, no car, no house, no food, no clothes (LOL) I have tethered spinal cord syndrome, and yes, stress does affect it quite a bit. Thanks for the tips! Mike --- Penny Hutcheson wrote: <HR> <html><body> <tt> Hi all yes stress is a factor in the pain level.
