Guest guest
Thank you for accepting my apolgy. WhenI was psychology minor in college I came across a type of therapy call Geshtalt. I made the mistake of sharing it with my stoic old world eouropean moth who took it and ran with it. She is still very vocal in my life and mow that I have to listen to her rantings derived from her early Alzheimers, I get to hear more than my share of that type of thera[y. I guess growing up hearing it has actually enabled me to be motivated by it's harshness. That was what drove my response. In taking your advice I will try not to share that harshness with anyone on this board in the future. I will keep it to myself. I guess I have not been a member long enough to know that this group prefers a more compasioate response. Again I do apologize and hope that we can continue to share together on this board for years to come. Lynn lnburrell@... Guest guest
I guess I'm Mr. Insensitivity, but I don't see a problem with Lynn's words. When we have something to do, we do have to " suck it up " , or wait for someone else to do it for us. I wasn't made that way, so I always " suck it up " and get-r-dun! If I weren't laid off because of my 'disability I don't have' 25 years ago, I'd still be working and have a sizeable nest-egg for our retirement years. As it is, I'm stuck with having to watch the world go by because our society won't let is " suck it up. Why should I have a problem with her comments?
