Guest guest
Yikes. I don't blame you for how you feel. I would feel neglected and nervous, for sure. Hoping your rheumy calls you tomorrow. (did you say you were gonna call the rheumy ?) Best wishes, I will be thinking of you. :-) - In , " snowdrift52003 " <snowdrift52003@...> wrote: > > Hi folks. > I just discovered that my lab had failed to send February results to > my rheumy--results that were, for the first time, abnormal. Guest guest
I don't blame you for feeling frustrated, Sierra. Try not to worry until your rheumatologist tells you that there is something to be concerned about. I know it's not helping that he/she didn't call you back immediately. Have you increased your dose recently? Which test is high, and how high is it? Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
I'll be monitoring future lab reports like the FBI! This morning I called my doctor and discovered that she had not received the message I had called on Monday--the message had been " closed out " --an error on their end. A second message was taken. When the doctor finally called and left a message for me this morning, she stated the time as 12:30. I looked at my watch--it said 10:30! This feels like a bad dream...so many errors! Very scary. Guest guest
I've been having MRIs and a lot of other tests done over the past few months - I have never seen more errors! I have one narrative report written by a neurologist that shows my weight as 135 on one page and 151 on another. Now, wouldn't you think the person that transcribed it would have thought that was strange? One report listed my height as 5 ft 5 and I'm 5 ft 8. And those are not very important issues, but what about all the lab stuff that makes no sense to us anyway? I've only found the mistakes that are glaring to me. Makes you wonder how much of it is wrong.
Guest guest
In my opinion, it's because people are moving too fast. You can't be careful when you're racing...
