weird taste-pred?smokeing?

UG yukky. I began taking the prednisone last nite. Since then my mouth has the

weirdest taste, kinda metallic, maybe? I do get a weird taste in my mouth when

I reduce my smoking..but this does not seem the same taste as that. But I

suppose maybe it could be the smoking reduction. Has anyone else gotten a weird

taste in their mouth from prednisone?

I do want to say thank you to those who are being encouraging to those of us

trying to quit smoking. I know for me it means a lot. Thank you!

I am hanging in there, as yesterday, with the same rules I imposed upon myself

yesterday. One per hour on the hour only.(no make ups allowed) with a limit mx

of one pack but, of course how could I do a pack unless I do not sleep? LOL.

I think I am at 6 for today or so.

Again, I undestand that might sound like a lot to most people but...coming off

from hosmuch I smoked and again considering I am not motivated at all to

quit.....I am thinking this is pretty goood for me. (normally I do at least 2

or 3 or even 4 or 5 packs a day, with 20 per pack, so this is a huge reduction)

My best wishes to everyone who is struggleing the same battle.

Now I wish the prednisone would kick in and kick butt on my fingers pain etc.

LOL. Maybe I could twist the results and convince myself it was the less cigs

that accomplished it? LOL.
