Guest guest
Jill, You're very welcome. I hope the information helps and leads to improved health. Too many of us here have the same problem with their arthritis being trivialized. In cases like your son, it could be denial. Kids don't like to think that a parent is sick. For that matter, a good amount of us here are in denial, or were in denial for many years! RA is so misunderstood, even by the medical profession. Because I was in denial when my kids were young, I still don't think they have a clue how RA has impacted my life, or theirs for that matter. I tried to keep things as normal as possible. They just knew some days mommy didn't feel well. Even though they saw me go through multiple surgical procedures, this to them was just mommy's way of trying to feel better so that I could play more. I didn't want them to be afraid of loosing me. Kids have enough insecurities. My computer has also been my sanity. It has kept my mind active and I learn so much by having all of these resources at my fingertips. If you go to the sites I referred you to, they have information you can print and bring to your doctor. Maybe this will help him to be more agreeable to the treatment. a On Mar 27, 2006, at 2:03 PM, Jill Simon wrote: > > Hi a > Thank you for the information. I'm so thankful I found you all.
