Have you looked at your diet? Stress level? Exercise?

Hi Les, I've been on MTX since August and have just had my dosage

increased to 17.5. My rheumy increased my folic acid to Leucovoren

as well, since my hair started to fall out.

I have seen very little difference and in fact felt worse after

starting the MTX. I thought I was crazy, but I guess not, since you

had the same thing happen. When I visited her last week, she started

me on Voltaren (an anti-imflammatory) which was a big hit for me.

I'm feeling much better, but sure know when it's time to take it

again (I start hurting all over). I have most of my symptoms in my

hips and elbows.

Perhaps your doctor can add something to help with the pain until

the MTX starts working (hope, hope).

Best of luck, Vicki
