have you called the local assistance office? I'm sure you have. I love cats.

What kind are they? I used to have an orange and white tom cat named tiger and

a tan and white kitten peaches cuz she looked like peaches and cream Good

Luck in the SSI case. They can be a real pain so i've heard. Hope you have a

I have applied for the medical card again just 2 weeks ago, but was told by

the doctor that most places won't take it here because they aren't getting

paid. As for my cats, Angel is black and gold, and Casey is black stripped

with grey and orange. Thank you for your kind words.

Janet, I don't know what state you live in.But here are a few suggestions.

Call you hospital, and ask to speak with a finance person, see if the hospital

has some sort of program to see charity patients. Sign up for food stamps, even

if you love with someone like a sister you can still get them, and when you see

you case worker ask her about help available, Call some of the churches and

shelters in town especially if they help the homeless see if they can offer you

any suggestions. Do you have an organization in town that helps the blind and

handicapped? If so call them.

Once you have a prescription, almost every company that makes the drugs for

our disease has a medical asstiance program, I know I use them to get humiria,

mobic, ultracet, and lexapro and others. If you explain your situation to a

doctor they might be able to give you some samples until you can get them

through a assitance program which takes about four weeks. I know this seems

hopeless right I know I am there also. after two years of fighting I am supposed

to get my first SSD payment ext month. If you have no income apply for SSI.

it;s worth a try, if denied appeal.
