Prednisone CAUSES cataracts

This I know personally. I was diagnosed about a week ago with cataracts in both

eyes, I'm only 37. I've been on the prednisone for 24 years, did anyone tell me

this could mess up my eyes? No. Only that the prednisone would cause osteo,

which it has. And that the RA could mess with my eyes, which it hasn't.

So, people, get off the stuff or lower it if you can. I am so mad at all my

doctors. Thankfully, I can work on lowering it and getting off, fat chance of

that. But by lowering it you can slow or stop more damage.
