Hi :

Sounds to me like you have a deep hematoma bruise,

that will just take a bit of extra time to heal since

it is so deep. I bruise so much more easily since

beginning treatment for RA, and these bruises come

from just little bumps, and last for days. I scratch

and bleed more easily too. I think you just have to

give it some time, but do bring it up to your doctor,

okay? There might even be a little tear in the muscle

sheath that could be causing the hematoma. Just my

two cents worth - I am no doctor or nurse - so make

sure you get a professional opinion.
