Guest guest
HI all, When I saw my urologist a month ago, he told me I have bilirubin in my urine. Bilirubin is a product of RBC breakdown. It is NOT normal to have bilirubin in urine. I notified my GI who than did lab work. My enzymes came back elevated. SGOT (AST) 37, normal 5-35. SGPT (ALT) 70, normal 7-36. My GI said it would be a concern if it stays elavated. This past Mon I had lab work again but haven't heard. Wed I had an abdomenal ultrasound and am waiting to hear about that. Hopefully the tests are normal but that wouldn't explain my bilirubin problem. I truly don't want to get a liver biopsy if that's the next step. Sorry if this is the wrong topic for the group. I just meed moral support right now. thanks, Debbie L
