Guest guest
Off-topic, but it's something important to me... My hometown of Loveland, Colorado is planning to demolish a house that my great-great grandfather built, which is the oldest home in Loveland. Although the daugher of my great-great grandparents () is famous in Loveland for being the first public school teacher in the county (they named an elementary school after her), the fact that it's not her house but rather her parents'house seems to make it less important to the city. Several people in town want to save the house and designate it an historic landmark. I don't live in Colorado any more, but I feel very sad that they would want to tear the house down to build a parking lot. The local newspaper is running a poll, and as a favor to me, I'd really appreciate anyone who wants to help to vote to save the house. You can also leave a comment if you'd like. Here's the link to the newspaper poll (you may need to scroll down a bit to see the poll). http://www.reporterherald.com/ I wrote a Letter to the Editor, and they said that they would print it, so I'm hopeful it may also be of some help. Also, here's a link to a story about the house. http://www.reporterherald.com/Top-Story.asp?ID=7075 Thank you!!! Take care,
