I think it's more that we're both still tyring to deny, or hope, that I don't really have this disease. (Which I do, so it's totally denial.) And we both hope that I won't end up having to use a chair all the time. Although those scooters sound nice My daughter wasn't being superficial, but she was being honest, which I appreciated.
