Hi ,

I was never approved. In fact, I was denied 5 times. I just asked

the doctor to write a letter for me but he wants me to go back on

biologics before doing so. I have been on biologics for years. I

will look for another doctor who knows a little more about my

condition. The drugs have stopped helping adequately and at this

point only seem to be damaging the liver. I need to look for a

primary care provider (PCP) anyway.

From the messages below, however, it seems you do get immediate

medical coverage.

Hi Kim,

I am hanging in there. How about you? We have to enjoy as much life

as we can even if only for 5 minutes a day. Personal things are

about the same and working on it. As for medical things, I think

looking to medicine for the answers is not always a sure thing or it

may be very short-lived for various reasons...or you might get lucky

and it is a godsend. We still have to search for ways to enjoy

whatever life there is left. It can be very difficult but finding

peace in the middle of all the chaos is very necessary for the health

in the long run.
