Guest guest
I just got one a couple weeks ago and had a the same thing happen but it is fine now. It didn't hurt when I got it but the next day like you said I had a knot and it hurt for a few days after. But if it keeps the flu away I am all for it. I got up the next day with a knot at the injection site and my arm and shoulder hurt bad for a week! That arm/shoulder is one spot on my body that doesn't give me a lot of trouble but it hurt really bad, then last Saturday it was gone. Other people at work that took the shot experienced similar problems. Guest guest
My acupuncturist told me that you should get an injection site as determined by the acupuncturist. this will prevent the result you are talking about. eandsspivey <espivey@...> wrote: Has anyone had trouble following a flu shot this year? Guest guest
Hi : Funny thing, I never have a reaction to a flu shot, and this one I got on Monday still hurts! It really burned going in, and I had a large red area around the injection site that was hot and very sore. It is better today, but the injection site still is sore - hmmmm, maybe it is a different flu shot this year, stronger or something? Guest guest
I got my flu shot a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had one since the swine flu shot in the 70's (?) and had such a bad reaction to it I swore I would never have a flu shot again. Well, after all these years I did. I also had a knot in my arm from the shot and it ached like **** but it didn't happen til a couple days after the shot. I thought my arm was going to be sore for a couple days after like normal shots but that didn't happen. Weird. I have had a bit of a problem with my sinus but nothing really bad and I don't know if it is from the shot. I have had no other reactions, which is good I guess. Now we get to see if these shots cover the right flu bugs this year. in Ct. Joy wrote: >I just got one a couple weeks ago and had a the same thing happen but it > is fine now.
