pred and flares

That's my understanding of it, altho I did read one study that says that

Pred helps *little* bit in stopping the progression...

Low grade fevers are definitely a part of RA, especially when it's not

managed, so what you say seems likely to me. Plus whenever my hands

are particularly painful I look at the barometer

and it's always high, so I know that for some reason I flare then...
