Side effects from Plaquenil?

Hi everyone, I was just diagnosed with Lupus/MCTD last week so this is

all new to me and I'm quite scared.

I was reading about side effects from Plaquenil and it sounds HORRIBLE!

What has been your experiences?

It may sound strange, but the worst thing to me is hair loss. I really

loved my hair and lost a lot recently to cytoxin. It's just starting to

be at the point where I'm not embarrassed if I don't wear a hat. The

idea of losing it again makes me want to cry!

It sounds like it also causing terrible digestive problems, vision

loss, and nightmares. What fun.

Any experience to share? If it did make your hair fall out (or anything

else), is there anything you can do to help with that??
