Guest guest
Dear e, I don't know you, but I have read a few of your posts, and you are obviously and extremely intelligent, articulate person! I really enjoyed this post, and the things you shared are so enlightening. I would love the URLS where a person can read things, if you have the bookmarks. Someone as smart as you are, should never be in a position like you are in. I am so saddened for the trials you have faced and I pray that your life will turn around. Thanks for not giving up and for sharing. You have a lot to offer. Love, Jeena

Guest guest
Jeena, Thank you for your compliments. Because I am in the medical field and have absolutely nothing to gain by hiding information or trying to sell or promote a product, I feel that whatever I can share with the group to help anyone and everyone out is my responsibility. One good site to research your doctor on is www.docboard.org. If I remember correctly, it allows you to pick the state you want, then the specialty, then you type in the doctor's name. It will tell you whether any licensing board has taken action against specific doctors. Last time I was on there, in December, it was very user friendly. I would also check in your white pages if you want to check a doc in your state. Look under "state" and then skim to the Medical Board #. It is usually listed under State of ______ Medical Board, or in Colorado, for instance, it's listed under CO Board of Medical Examiners. If you call the main #, you will likely get a recorded msg that will tell you how to access information online. In CO, the system for MD's, RN's, PA's, and NP's is ALIS (automated licensure information system). You can also find out if your doctor is certified in a specialty are by going to http://www.certifieddoctor.com. If any of you want sites to anything else, or have an interest in anything else, let me know as I have a long list of sites to access for drugs, illnesses, diseases and conditions, general health topics, food and nutrition, clinical trials, wellness and alternative treatments, and insurance plans and info. e ----- Original Message ----- From: el_jeena Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2002 4:24 AM Subject: Re: e-Medical Boards Dear e,I don't know you, but I have read a few of your posts, and you areobviously and extremely intelligent, articulate person!
