Guest guest
Hello, My RA has caused tendonitis. Right now I have it in my hand, running down the middle finger. I showed it to my rheumy last time I was there and she said, " Oh...swollen! " and suggested taping it to my other finger. When I had ankle tendonitis the podiatrist who noticed it prescribed ice, rest, and Advil. I'm wondering if that's all I can do for my hand--lately the pain has become sharp at times. Unfortunately, it's the hand I use most. Does anyone know if cortisone injections are ever given for tendonitis? I'd welcome any ideas. Thanks!
