As a little side note...My new Dr. was mortified when I told her I

had been on Prednisone for so many years, and she gave me the big

talk about the 56 side effects, and she was weaning me off it all

togehter til she got my tests back. She could not BELIEVE how well

my body is doing on it! The bone scans came back incredibly good,

and all the other tests regarding it came back so good. She told me

I am a 'freak!' She said with the severity level of my RA, I should

be a real mess! (Not to mention how long I have been on pred.) She

told me I am in the percentage where the worst cases fall, and yet is

amazed at how well I am doing. It was funny to see her so taken

aback! I always expect the worst and hope for the best, and I guess

that is what I really got this time, lol. I guess she is going to

leave me on the prednisone til further notice.
