I have not posted about those beds but here I will. I am probably most picky

person in regard to the surface I sleep on. This predated all my present

problems by many years. We would buy a bed top quality name brand bed and in

less than 2 years it would have " ruts " in it that no one but me could feel. But

I sure did. I tried various mattress pads. I have a small sheep skin rug that

I put on the bed when I was not at home.

About 11 years ago we bought a Select Comfort (sleep number) bed. We choose to

not get the control that has numbers but their less expensive one that has

controls much like a heating pad. We got a pillow top in their best grade. We

had looked at other airbeds and when you get into the quality construction and

such the others just didn't have it. Shortly after that one we bought a 2nd

one. That one is a twin size, best quality but not a pillow top. I had no

problem with the other one but decided to get it without the pillow top so that

I could replace the top if needed. At that time I thought perhaps the pillow

top might get ruts and I wanted to be able to change it if I wished. I put a

good quality memory foam pad on it. That is " my " bed, the other one " our " bed,

but only sleep with my husband when we need my bed for someone else. We are

both restless and so sleep better separate. Time revealed that the pillow top

has not gotten ruts.

Just as other products there is a line of different quality beds, at least the

last time I looked at any of them. They want you to have their sales talk

before they quote a price. They will send you a video. They are expensive the

but bottom line is for us they are less expensive because we are not having to

constantly replace them.

I hope this doesn't sound like a commercial as it isn't and I do not benefit

from it except to think perhaps others like me could sleep more comfortably. Of

course nothing ever works in real life like it does on TV. Still for us it has

been a good choice.
