Guest guest
I am glad that my rheumy prescribes pain meds for me. My first one started me out with hydrocodone, she moved back to Poland, and this one has continued to prescibe although has made a comment or two about it. I would have to find another dr if she stopped, as that is how I get through the day. The only way I have become as active after dx as I have is with the help of pain meds. NSAIDS make my stomach hurt so much it is not worth it. I tried different pain meds before landing on this one. Darvocet made me dizzy and nauseaus and tramodol didn't work very well for me again dizzy and nausea and not all that effective for this level of pain, for me personally. I think if you blessed enough that you do not need that level of pain relief, then YEA for you. I wish I didn't have the pain, then I wouldn't need the pain meds. I would be happy to trade it in.
