Sounds like she just does not want the responsibility of taking care of her children, and that is so sad for those kids. That her job is more important to her than her own children is very clear. Yes, sometimes moms have to work too, but when I did, I made sure I took my kids to school, and then picked them up after school to take them home with me. She has no idea how much this would mean to her kids, that she took some interest in them and their activities, and spent more time with them one on one. How sad. Maybe some sense can be knocked into her by your refusing the babysitting job, and I hope that is the case. If she were to cut back on her work hours and spend more time with her kids, those kids would not have to be wild monkeys to get attention! Be strong!!
