I guess I misunderstood your previous message. Yeah the only way I know to do that is add one medication at a time otherwise there is no way of knowing if one is masking the other. I guess they can measure what they call an RA factor to see if the number is improving and your sedimentation rate is decreasing. The prednisone is very good with controlling inflammation and that's it's main job. I guess it would appear to be masking the RA. Adding a biologic such as Enbrel or Remicade is an option they work to slow down the progression of RA. Plus doing the other things I mentioned in my last message to you. Good luck. .......
