Guest guest
Hi Gail/Donna Ok maybe I'm getting the hang of this, Our mod asked us to delete the bottom messages so they are not so big to send on. But then I forget who I'm talking to and WHAT WAS THE QUESTION/ and or topic. Oh well at least we are communicating. Guest guest
That should be one of your questions on your next visit to the doctor..You have valid questions that you need answers too.Go for it.Also 40 pounds overweight shouldn't make that much difference for treatment,so there must be another answer. Gail RE: Re: new beeHepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies Received: Monday, July 14, 2008, 4:10 AM To many doctors explain nothing and it is up to us to find out the answers to our questions.Specialis ts don't coperate.I gained 45pounds after treatment cause I went down past only being 70 pounds when I finished tx,but after treatment food finally tasted good and I went over board and I gained 70 pounds up from 70pounds to 145 and now I have worked down to 130 and trying to get down to 110 cause I have the bone structure of a 10yr old and over 110 and I am overweight. Guest guest
AActually Suzie you are quite tall so you are not that overweight for your hight, especially if you are big boned too.My husband is about your hight and weight and he only has the extra weight around the waist, because of his back being so bad. Gail Re: new beeHepatitis CSupportGroupForDummies Date: Friday, July 11, 2008, 10:44 AM The transplant team I saw here in Florida at Shands said that they can not transplant you if you have to much body fat. I am a little overweight and she said I was close to that point. Don't ever lose hope - they could find a cure tomarrow - we just don't know. Sounds like you really need to get new doctors. You just have to keep trying till you find a doctor you click with. What I do is request all my test results and keep them in a file. Then when I go to a new doctor I have everthing right there. I find it easier since you have to see so many doctors. Also, Hep C can cause depression - you may need to address that as well. I did and I felt so much better. I need to get back on the anti-depreasents - I let it go due to $$$ but I really need to figure a way. Best of luck > >> > Hi : You sound just like my carboncopy on the other side> of> Canada.
