Hi, I really sympathize with you. No Fun. I take Actonel and have taken it

for 3 or 4 years, with none of the affects you mention. In fact,other than

the fact that I have to take it on an empty stomach and wait an hour to eat, I

have no problems at all. Although I have been on it for this long, I had a

bone density test recently which showed Osteopenia, no improvement.

Sure hope you find out what is going on.

I take Actonel too... Not as long as you, just since last Feb. But

like you, I've had no adverse side effects. I had another bone

density about a month ago, and my numbers had improved slightly over

the one a year before, in spite of the fact that I've been on

prednisone for most of that time. It seems to be doing its job for

me!
