Guest guest
I absolutely disagree with this attitude!!! We need to know how to get from one place to the other, so we don't feel bad about asking directions. That's the same concept as asking about medical information. The more we know, the better our chance of getting better treatment from our Doc's. Our experiences can be good weapons for us when we are hit with things we never heard of or may not understand. Knowledge is power, and we need power to keep us running. To deny it is to give us less of a chance to help our doctor in prescribing what we need, not what a book says we need. Spread the knowledge, but be careful how it's used. Guest guest
Just to clarify: Asking about what drugs or supplements others are taking and at what dosage is fine. No member should change what medications or supplements he or she takes or the dosage thereof without consulting his or her physician. Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
I agree with you, Dennis. I've learned an awful lot about meds from the people on this site. I'd never take it on my self to change my meds without running it by my doc, but learning what other people are doing, and why, puts me in a better position to dicuss various possibilities with my oen doc. > >> > >> It seems that these questions about Meds and how often the dose should > >> be taken are OUT OF ORDER. > >> This is not a Medical practice or Medical Doctors web site. > >> > >> Libality is an issue here or could be.
