Guest guest
Ebony I think a coma would work for me.......at least until they came up with a cure! lol I'm lucky my family really does pitch in, don't think I would survive without them. Maybe have a center for us like they have for the retirees. We have communities here where you can live in a patio home, condo, or if you need more help in assisted living. They have all kinds of stuff right there. They have a bus that takes them to the store, they have fun things scheduled all the time! They have full time drs and nurses on staff and emergency call buttons each each home and one to wear around your neck when you are out. I think that would work! I think a coma would work for many of us but wonder what the body would look like after being in a coma. I'll bet the RA doesn't go in the coma with us. Maybe we can find a way to put the RA in the coma while we live this wonderful life given us minus the pain. Sounds like the retirees community is an ideal place also. Not sure if I want it as busy as that with the nurses and doctors on-call. I would like to keep my pick of doctors and nurses, just would like the necessities of daily living with a chronic pain condition and some luxuries like bookstores and coffee shops nearby. peace and healing, Ebony
Guest guest
And going along with our champagne taste with beer budget, maybe we could tuck in a small, tasteful consignment store where we could actually afford those beautiful clothes and vintage jewelry we have that eye for! Since it's our fantasy community, it would be in our budget, right? Right! And a nice plant center for you! --- In , " Ebony " <stillbreathing29@...> wrote: > > I must have been Queen Sheba in a past life because as my Mom used to > say about people with expensive taste, I have champaign taste and > beer money. Guest guest
-Ebony................ You ladies forgot the most important thing....a pool sized hot tub...with seats all around, and big enough to swim across... and stretch all our muscles while in nice warm water.it doesn't have to be deep, just large enough to do a few laps when we are feeling good..and it should be covered so we don't burn (because of our meds). Picnic lunches and Sunday Brunch by the pool would be nice too, with mimosas!!!! I also think that each apt should have an optional enclosed doggie run, off of our enclosed patios..so that we can have the loving companionship that a dog offers..yet not have to walk it on those days that we can't get out of bed. ( We could tip the gardner to do clean up doo-doo-ties, pun inntended !) And I would vote for weekly van rides to the book store, s, and a really good yarn shop!!!Did I mention the gardner who would take care of a big cutting garden for flowers for us to pick and fresh fruits and veggies for us to eat...and we could dabble there on days when we were feeling good, walking among the trees and flowers in our long dresses and large hats, carrying baskets for our cut flowers!!!....like ladies of leisure!!!! just a few simple ideas!!! jenna -- In , " Ebony " <stillbreathing29@...> wrote: > > I must have been Queen Sheba in a past life because as my Mom used to > say about people with expensive taste, I have champaign taste and > beer money. Guest guest
Ebony, Let's add a full time masseuse, one that is available 24 hrs a day. Oh,it would be heaven to have a place like all of you are describing, even it was just a two week get-away where we could be pampered. Heck, I would settle for a weekend retreat. Where we would have facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, hair styled, etc., all this along wonderful food to eat. Oh, let's add a full time rhuemy that is the world's best. Guest guest
This community is sounding better all the time! Does this mean I can wear my SpongeBob SquarePants boxers??? That's what I swim in here at the house.
