I am currently looking for another job. I sent an email to our regional manager to inform him of my situation. I just learned from the labor board today that it is illegal to discriminate in regards to disability leave. I just don't want anyone else to have to go through this. Guest guest
have you applied for fmla? its a federal mandate & you can not be passed over for raises, job promotions or special projects. i know i fought this battle & it took 2 yrs to bring about changes in my workplace, but i do feel i helped the ones following me. it took years for fmla to be approved, use it. my current crusade is wheelchair access. i hate getting dressed up to go, (on a good day) and then get there and cant go in. i am new here but i really enjoy the comments & information. thank you deborah Holly <hollybgroovin2003@...> wrote: gehrmanbill <gehrmanbill@...> wrote: --- In , " Holly " <hollybgroovin2003@...> wrote: > > I went to my boss yesterday to ask him for a raise because I have been > doing all the duties of 3 different positions.
