Hi andall

The first drug we as CRISIS Team in 1978. learned was to ask the

question , " what drug did the person take? " . This would be for when

we came to a home and someone had swallowed pills and was

threatening suicide.

If they said tylenal (different name in UK) then we called in the

paramedics and took the person to have their stomach pumped. If we

got to them before 12 hours of ingestion the liver might have been

savaed. If we got them after 24 hours of ingestion they usually

died.
