Guest guest
Hi Kerri: I always order my Enbrel when I am down to my last two shots of the month - it is a special order for the pharmacy. I hope that the Enbrel works as well for you as it has for me - although I take in with Mtx. The med comes in little packets with needle and all the mixing ingredients (not hard at all to do). The shot is no big deal - just let the alcohol swab dry on your skin before you give the shot or else you will have stinging at the site. I use my thighs, and alternate sides. I do get bruising sometimes but no other side effect. It's been a wonder drug for some people, and I hope that you are one of them. Good luck. Guest guest
Kathi, You are correct if kerri got the one you have to mix..if not she will get the pre-mix with ready to use syringes... Personall Kerri, having used the Enbrel that you have to mix I would NOT use the pre-mix. I prefer no preservatives if at all possible as well as the fact the preservatives burn when injected. Another thing to try if you want to minimize pain is use an ice pack for a few mins where you want to give the injection before using the alcohol swab. It has helped me, since i am a big chicken when it comes to needles.
Guest guest
At this point, I don't care if the needle looks like a tree and is rounded at the end!! LOL I just want something to work. Take care of yourself and God bless. kerri sue Ms radar <aclavern33@...> wrote: Kathi, You are correct if kerri got the one you have to mix..if not she will get the pre-mix with ready to use syringes...
