Hiya Barb,I am so glad to hear that you have recovered from

pneumonia,its such a terrible experience,i was trult thankful i came

through it.My family were sent for last year when i had it,they lost me

a couple of times but thanks to the ICU i am here today.Yes mtx can

damage our lungs,i have empysema now, which has been troublesome for

me. Yes mtx can increase our risks for cancer,but enbrel is the same,i

had to have a cancer scan before i was given it,as i have a swollowing

prob,i can't spell it lol!Why are these medical words always so

difficult to spell.The risks are endless on these drugs for us,but i

would rather live a better quality of life than a longer one in agony

every day.I hope things go ok for you.

That drug does cause a lot of problems. What type of RA med is your

doc going to put you on now? Just know your in my thoughts and
