Guest guest
I'm wondering how long a medication is " active. " My situation is that I am taking Neurontin for my neuropathy and one of the drug interactions is hydrocodone. I take Vicoprofen for pain (hydrocodone with ibuprofen). The Neurontin makes the effect of hydrocodone HALF of what the actual dose is. This, of course, is on top of the Plaquenil and Celebrex for the RA! LOL Anyway, I'm wondering how long after I take the Neurontin that I should take the Vicoprofen to prevent having the hydrocodone cut in half. I'm trying to cut back on the pain RX, but I'd like to do it on my own, not have the other RX do it for me! I've been waiting about 2 hours before taking the pain RX. If anyone has a clue, I'd love to know. Thanks.
