Guest guest
I must have been Queen Sheba in a past life because as my Mom used to say about people with expensive taste, I have champaign taste and beer money. Don't know if you've heard that one. Maybe something she made up. (smile) However, my ideal community would have all things we RA/OA/fibro, etc. need at a golf cart's distance like the grocery store which usually includes a pharmacy, coffee shop, bookstore preferably barnes and noble, cleaners, someplace we RA and OA folks can get our toes done since it is difficult reaching our own feet - still hard for me to believe I can't reach my own feet anymore! At least that way they get soaked and scrubbed for us -- a cinema, a park to feed the ducks or birds, or just sit in the sun a few minutes a day, all in one place so we can take our golf cart there or scooter if you have one but not too far from our community. That's not too much to ask for is it? Dreaming again, I guess. Takes the mind off the pain. Hahaha! I do have books I can read also, but have to go easy on the eyes with me needing to use natural tears out of a bottle. That's my idea of an ideal community, what's yours? I'd love to know what would be ideal for you to make living with chronic pain easier if you had to live completely on your own with very little help from family. peace and healing, Ebony
