Hi ,

During the last week of June, I developed a lung infection from

Enbrel. I have taken five rounds of antibiotics and two rounds of

prednisone. My latest C-Scan showed that the pneumonia is gone, but

my bronchial tubes are still inflamed. My rheumatologist does not

want to try me on a new medicine for the RA until the infection is

completely gone. I had approximately seven good years on Enbrel.

It took me from being very disabled to leading a normal life. I am

so frightened as I see the RA getting bad again. I have been

informed that Remicade and Humeira are not a possibility since they

have the same side effects as Enbrel.

I wish you luck with your skin infection.

Sincerely,

Patsy
