Guest guest
Thank you so much for your info. I haven't written sooner because my new computer had to be returned to the company. I am writing to you from school. (I am a part-time teacher). My doctor might try the old fashioned gold. I am not familiar with Orencia. Please let me know how it works. Sincerely, Patsy Jeanine <songbirdscout@...> wrote: Patsy, I had a similar problem a couple of years ago. I kept getting Brocnichitis, and finally ended up with Pneumonia. My rheumy had the same reaction. He took me off of everything until my lungs were clear and I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I was taking Humira at the time. The problem with almost all of the new meds is that they make you more susceptible to infections, especially upper respiratory. My rheumy referred me to an infectios disease specialist. His response was that once the infection was clear, and I had had a pneumonia vaccine, that I had to make a decision between pain levels and infections. I went back on my Humira after about 4 months. Unfortunaley, until the infection is clear, there isn't a whole lot you can do. I wish you luck with clearing the infection. I will say that when I was on Enbrel I was sick almost every month. I missed an average of 1 week of meds every month. When I went on the Humira I was sick about once every 3 months, but it was typically more severe. Now I am waiting to start Orencia because the others have stopped working. I will be interested to see how I do on it. Good luck, Jeanine from FL. --------------------------------- Everyone is raving about the all-new beta. --------------------------------- Sponsored Link Mortgage rates near 39yr lows. $510,000 Mortgage for $1,698/mo - Calculate new house payment
