Guest guest
I had my first methotrexate injection on Wednesday of last week. I had a couple of yucky days, although I'm not sure if they were related to the injection (terrible headache on Friday and Saturday). Today, I woke up feeling terrible. My fingers are stiff, my wrists, elbows, knees, ankles all ache terribly. Yesterday, we started decorating for Christmas. I didn't feel like I was overdoing but that may be because of the 5 mg. of daily Prednisone which gives me abundant energy. Is this the worst I can expect from what I suspect is a RA flare? I'm trying to pull myself together to go to work but I can barely walk. I took a Vicoprofen this morning along with my Prednisone hoping that the medication and a hot shower might get back into action. Am I doing myself more harm than good trying to push myself past this flare? Hurtful thanks....
