foot/ankle edema follow up

Dennis.....Just a thank you for good advice. I called my rhuemmy about

my gargantuan elephant feet and he gave me what he calls a burst of

prednisone order....start out at a higher dose for 3 days then taper

down. It is day two and my feet are 1/3 the size they were after a week

of taking lasix (40 to 60 mg./day)to get the swelling down.(which

didn't work at all)..I have to tell my pcp that I don't have " old lady

feet " like he said....he will get a laugh out of it. but more

importantly...I am teaching him something about RA !! HA!......thanks
