YEAH IAN!! " I did it " was one of Josh's first sentences, also. I just loved

the expression on his face when he said it (all the time) - revel in the moment,

Mom!

Hello

I am so excited!

Ian is speaking in sentences! They are difficult to understand, but

consist of 2-4 words. Being the closest expert on " Ianspeak " , I am

probably the only one that understands what he is saying.

Here are some of his sentences:

I did it.

I see her.

That's hot.

That's a cow.

Wow! I know these are phrases he has heard me say, but I am so

thrilled to hear them back!

Another item that has been helpful is the Jumpstart Toddler computer

CD. It is the original version (with a black/white dog on the

cover). My oldest loved that program. Now Ian is navigating the

game and repeating the words said. This version is nice because you

can use the space bar and individual keys instead of the mouse. For

those of us with motor planning problem children, the mouse can be

hard to use at first. He has added many words to his reportoire.

Yeah for Ian!

Pam you made my day again! Ditto all I say below with your last

great news post from not even a month ago!!

Actually my day was made earlier today too -I just went to get my ears

pierced again and the lady asked me if I was over 'eighteen'. I

thought she was kidding so I looked at her with a smirk like " oh

please " ... she actually made me show her my license before she would

pierce my ears! Then she said " Well...you look really young "

(Glenn said I look young but not that young!)

Of course however I came home and googled " PUFA and skin " and found:

" Fish intake was shown to reduce skin wrinkling when consumed with

other protective foods such as vegetables. "

Thank you so much Pam for making my day!!! I feel like I know you

just from your posts here and I feel like I want to give you and Ian

a HUGE HUG!!! What incredible and happy news!

(oh and about the EFAs for us big people - I guess I never sleep

enough to know if they keep me awake even prior to EFAs! But I

found for me taken at night they give me very vibrant dreams -which

can be cool. Regardless I typically take mine in the AM when I give

them to the kids)

Again -YEAH Ian (and EFAs)!!!!!

Just had to share this, it seems like sometimes we have so little good

news. I am soooo excited, I have a new grandson! Dennis was born on

the 4th of July, weighing in at 6lb 14 oz. I will be traveling to my son's

next week to see him! Also to see my darling granddaughters, who are 18

months old. I just wish I could easily pick them up, or get down on the

floor to play with them. I have posted a picture of :

I really need to get some new pictures of my girls, but I haven't seen them

since January and their Daddy isn't very good about sending pictures. I

miss them so much, I hope the Humira continues to work and I will be able to

travel more to see them.
