Hi Pinki:

Welcome to the group! This is a wonderful place to

come for friendship, support, and understanding. We

truly know what you are going through. I have RA,

Fibro, OA, and Raynaud's. I take meds too for both my

RA and Fibro. I know what it is like to feel so old -

I am only 52, but feel much, much older most of the

time because of the pain, and all the hobbling about I

have to do lol.

I really don't have any great tips for dealing with

fibro, it continues to cause me a lot of pain, even

with the medications. I take Lyrica, Ultraset, Ambien

CR, Zanaflex, Skelaxin, and Effexor XR. The Lyrica

has been helpful with my leg pain at night, but I

still have leg pain pretty much all the time, just not

so severe it wakes me up every night like it was, now

just a few times a month do I have that kind of pain.

I have found to Ambien CR and Zanaflex to be a great

combo for a good night's sleep, the first I have had

in years lol. I take Ultraset for pain.

I don't know if any of these medications would be

available to you with your insurance situation with

medicaid, but you could always try and ask your doctor

about them. I can't say they would help you, but they

have helped me.

We are very happy to have you with us, but sorry for

the reason you are here. Whine away! You have chronic

pain and sometimes it gets to the point we all need to

vent, and this is the place to do it. I hope that you

find a home here, as I have.
