Guest guest
Hi Ctsofa: Hi and welcome! You have come to the right place. This is a great group of very friendly and supportive people. I have had RA for 8 years now, so am getting to be an old hand at all of this - hah - actually, I learn something new every day, especially thanks to this group. Are you being seen by a rheumatologist? If not, I would definately suggest that you make an appointment to have the proper testing done, and examinations, x-rays, to make sure that you do have RA. There are many facets to arthritis. I have RA and OA, and they are different entities altogether. My rheumy treats both my RA and I also have Fibro. I am on Enbrel, Methotrexate and Ultram for my RA, and other meds for my fibro, so my bathroom looks like a virtual pharmacy! These medications, though, do help give me a quality of life, and are holding my RA in pretty good control. Looking forward to learning more about you.
