Felt fine. When I got back, I found a dr. in Marina del Rey, CA www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com that was able to reverse it. I went to China in Mar. for 9 days, climbed all over the Great Wall and everything!!! This guy saved me. Good luck,
Guest guest
I love cruising because you can do as much or as little as you like. Unpack once, and you're done. Sea days are a great way to rest up between ports, find a good deck chair and curl up with a book, sit in the jacuzzi for a while to help relax, take a nap . . . the possibilities for just flaking out are almost endless. Make sure and ask your cabin attendant for a foam mattress topper on the first day, really makes the bed more comfortable. also any extra pillows you need (I need one for between my knees, etc.). If you do go on a bus tour at any of the ports, talk to the tour desk ahead of time and explain you're disabled and would like the front seat on the bus reserved for you. I find the buses are often the hardest part of touring, I hate getting on and off of them. If you end up at a tender port (where the ship doesn't dock, but uses one of their lifeboats to take you ashore) take all the help the crew offers, they're pros at getting people on and off tenders. In fact, remember that the crew is there to help you, and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it! I see you are going to Panama - are you going through the canal? We did that a couple of years ago, and it is the most fantastic experience! I know you are going to love this trip, I'll be looking for a trip report. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, if there's anything else I can tell you about.
