Guest guest
It's funny how you start thinking of different ways just to save steps. It's not that walking that specific distance is so bad, if that's all you have to do it's the way things build up, and the fatigue they cause. I told you I'm going to try doing this horse show in August. My friend and I have already been plotting and plannig how to make things easier... Like getting there a day early, so we can be sure to get a site for the travel trailer that is close to things, and asking for stalls in the barn closest to the main ring. She even wrote a note asking that my dressge tests (I'm riding two on Fri. and two on Sat.) be scheduled close enough together that I can just stay on, and not have to do two separate warm-ups. I think the biggest help will be having my teenage son there to do all the set-up work and lugging around that is required when you take horses to a multi-day show. He can also do all the travel trailer set- up. I am just SO grateful that he's willing to come with me! It all seems like little things, but I think (hope) it will make the difference between making it do-able, and totally killimg me. We'll see if my theory holds true after the fact!<g> >Best of luck - it will > help you when you have to walk a long distance to > where you want to go, or have to do a lot of walking > once you get inside such as malls, etc. Just get > ready for strange looks from some people since we > " look normal " lol. > > Kathe in CA

Guest guest
Thanks, Jenna! Now that I'm committed, (having sent the $$$ entry fees<g>) I'm getting excited about going! I've really missed showing since this all started. > > > > It's funny how you start thinking of different ways just to save > > steps.
