I had two root canals and " build ups " plus caps amounting to 6k. Both teeth fell out within a year! I should have just had the old ones refilled. They were way in the back and made no difference anyway! I had no insurance, what a fool I was! I should probably have just had them pulled! Guest guest
I think I've mentioned this before, but just in case... My wife and I need teeth repaired and replaced. Neither of us has any bridges or other fixtures so far. Anyhow, I have holes in jaw teeth on both sides and need them fixed or pulled. The dentist gave me a price to fix what needs to be done for almost $5,000, a price I can't afford. Betty will have at least that much if and when she goes to be evaluated. Right now, her hospital and ambulance bills are almost $10,000 for a one day stay because of her almost diabetic coma. The question is, what can I get that will fill the holes I have? WalMart sells a temporary filler that might last for 2 days, but no more. The Sjogrens left me with a number of small cavities but they aren't bothering me so far. The holes in question are from fillings that fell out and food packs into them every time I eat, and they seem to be growing more all the time. There's bound to be something I can get. Does anybody know of some product that will work? Dennis in Eastexas " It's not Rocket Surgery "
Guest guest
HI Dennis, I don't know if this would be a viable option, but some dental schools do dental work for a very reduced fee. Just a thought... Take care, , also in TX > > I think I've mentioned this before, but just in case... My wife and I need > teeth repaired and replaced. You COULD buy some teeth whiteners that have rubber teeth guards. Put these on your teeth when you eat.... Are these teeth that show? If not, have them pulled... Bummer. Guest guest
, there are no dental schools around here, so that option is out. Thanks for the idea anyhow. Pris, I've used the cheapest dentist for a long time. He did pull teeth for $70 each, but won't pull mine any more. They have to be fixed, not pulled, his new policy (to make more money). That works out to instead of the $70 per tooth times 4, it's going to be $175 times 4 ($700) just to fill them. I don't have that money either, so I'm limited in what I can do. That's why I thought I might fill my own teeth. If I don't do it right, it won't be too much of a problem, I can either take them back out or let them fall out on their own. I'm looking for an Ironwood tree so I can make my own teeth, also. If Washington could do it, I can.
