Guest guest
I said last week this stuff will be expensive. I think it's outrageous to try to make so much money from the pockets of those that really need them. My personal feeling is that those in wheelchairs are better off because they wake every morning with the same disability. We don't have that luxury because our disability moves from day to day, or even hour to hour. Perspective is important in these cases and seems to be an illusion for most. It's hard to keep our eyes on the ball because it does change so much. I've said before that I wish I had a normal disability so I can know what to expect tomorrow. Plans cannot be made because my body can't do what it should at any given time. We have to live with it, though. Your comment, " anyone with a spinal cord injury or nervous system disorder is definitely worse off than we are " may not be true. Which would you rather have?
