Guest guest
I think it's wonderful you have people open-minded enough in your circle of family and friends who actually read your RA letters. I have written so many letters and sent so many web sites describing RA. People have to want to get it. I have found going online to talk with people going through the same thing as I am is what helped me. I had hoped to find a true medicine regimen that would work for all but I have since learned that is a fantasy. We all have unique symptoms and diagnoses. It seems one medicine helps for awhile then stops and other don't help this person like it helps that person, etc., etc. I had also hoped to find an exercise group or walking partner in my area. So I accept that at least among people with chronic pain conditions and musculoskeletal conditions I can say what I am going through and at least there will be someone there who is going through it or been through it too who can offer words of encouragement or suggestions on things to try or people to call, etc. I think couples going through similar conditions and who are chronically ill together are more understanding of each other because at least they have each other, and it isn't the one sick spouse who is always the needy one, and the healthy spouse feeling his life has come to a standstill and is now restless. Although the both of you are fighting some tough conditions, i am happy to see you have each other and family is there for you too. peace and healing, Ebony
