local---One is National.

I would be very interested in going on the radio. I am used to being on

radio as at one of my previous jobs, I was chosen to represent the

organization I worked for and it was a wkly talk show about healthcare and

the changes it was and is going through.

Also, , if you have copies of the money that your insurance company

shelled out just to dx your health problems as related to your implants, you

should save them as if there ever is a future class action, it might come in

handy to prove that it would be much more prudent for an insurance company

to pay for explant instead of wasting money on unnecessary tests and

procedures.

Hi

I will go on Talk Radio. I am not familiar with it but I don't really want

to step on anyone's toes but I don't like Dr. . I have heard a lot of

negative feedback from people. I appreciate your suggestion and definitely

will participate but not willing to do anything with Dr. .

There are two different approaches we can take and I am not sure what we are

going to do or want to do.

Is our purpose here is is to:

A. Inform and educate women to not get them?

B. Get a class action suit going?

C. Both?

If we do want to educate women on the dangers, I think the majority of women

getting them are of a younger generation between the ages of 18-28? I am

guessing. I had mine along with a lot of other women I know put in at age

22 or 23? I think we need to go to a source in which they really respect

and listen to which I would believe to be (me being 26) the magazines, like

Cosmo, Glamour, Vogue, etc. as well as top 40 radio stations. If they are

listening so will their mothers. They will hear as well. If we were to do

some shows, brought up 20/20 as a good one. Also the investigative

news teams are good. I also respect Oprah but think of it as more of an

audience of middle aged women. I worked in media (cable tv) as a

coordinator to all of the buyers and I learned a lot about the audience,

etc. Please give me some feedback, am I on the right track or is there

other things we need to consider as well?

I think we want to educate the audience about what is really happening &

to persue a class action suit.

Top 40 Radio plays music...they don't talk much about issues. Talk Radio

is listened to more people than you think! People that GET

involved..people that want to KNOW what's going on. They DO get high

ratings..I read the trades weekly. Keep in mind when thinking of

demographics, that alot of these young girls got implants from their

parents checkbooks. And parents do talk to them about their health,

especially if they KNEW & HEARD (or read) about people like you,

I have saved all the info regarding these tests.

Until the doctors/researchers will admit that implants do cause pain &

illness, they will continue testing " around " the implants, thus

insurance companes will continue paying for these tests. One well known

surgeon I saw here for an exam, looked at me & said " I have no idea what

is causing this pain " . I had the implant surgery date on my form too. It

was listed as the first surgery. His office called me during my explant

recovery to inquire as to what exaactly it was, that was causing that

pain. When I told them it was my implantsThe girl said & I " ll quote

her, " NO SH*T? " She called again the next week to inform me that she

spoken with the surgeon about this matter & it was noted in my charts if

I ever needed anything from them. So slowly we are making progress.

Hi All.

This is true about Feng, her being anti-implant--which is a good thing as it is rare among PS's. BUT is she willing to TESTIFY to that in a court of law--THAT'S the question? I hope she or someone else of her caliber is willing.

Dr is a creep to no way would she sympathize she would probably say

we got the things and deserved it, I am sorry but not many people sympathize

with implant victims, sad but true, I have been dealing with this for awhile

now and it has shown me that most people don't believe in us and don't care.

They also see so many implanted women and they brag how happy they are so

that also hurts our case.

preimplant then and thought it was horrible, he made fun of the women who he

thought really needed implants, poking fun on there breasts because they

Glamour already did an article on implants, and it was not all bad stuff of course, but it left the reader with the feeling that problems were far and few between and that most women were happy with their implants.

they do brag but did anyone go back to ask them how they feel a year or two

after they heard them brag? They need to follow up and see because I am

sure these women are unhappy now. Sucks! As for Dr I agree, she is

really conservative and thinks that we deserve what happened to us. She is

not really nice. I would chose Stern over her since he has an open mind.

I did but am thinking that we need to attack it again but this time with a doc that won't be for the implants rather more against them. Dr. Blais would be the perfect candidate with all of his knowledge. Dr. Feng I don't know would be right since she still implants women. I think she might be concerned of loosing business if she puts out anything negative. That is what we are facing using plastic surgeons as our force.

Dr Feng does not consider herself pro implant. Unlike most of the other PS's most of her business is explants.

I did but am thinking that we need to attack it again but this time with a doc that won't be for the implants rather more against them. Dr. Blais would be the perfect candidate with all of his knowledge. Dr. Feng I don't know would be right since she still implants women. I think she might be concerned of loosing business if she puts out anything negative. That is what we are facing using plastic surgeons as our force.

Glamour already did an article on implants, and it was not all bad stuff of course, but it left the reader with the feeling that problems were far and few between and that most women were happy with their implants.

She is she is awesome, she def tells the truth about implants, even to women who are wanting them she never down plays it, Dr Kolb also is a great Dr and knows allot about implants, but I just don't know how having them would affect how serious people would take her, don't get me wrong, it makes no difference to me, I am fine with her having implants, in fact if women want them they can have them, as long as I don't have them and as long as they know the true risks, if they still want them then they are crazy!

Hi Ladies,

As soon as I have enough time, I will post all the FDA Saline Implant Testimonies, which includes Dr. Feng's. If anyone else has a copy ot these testimonies, I would be grateful if they would post them. I know Patty was there, and would think she would have a copy -- however, she may not have time to post them, right now.

Patty, if you have these, do you have time to start posting them? If not, I will see if I can find someone else to help me get them posted to this group. I am more than 'swamped' right now, due to me allowing myself to be "overloaded", plus a sick mother & daughter this week.
