prayer shawls (comfort shawls, healing shawls etc)

SOme time ago I had mentioned to someone something about a wonderful gift I had

recieved from a very dear but now distant old old friend when my dh was in ICU

and my mom was dying and my son was in surgery for his eye. (yes all at the

same time, and very shortly after my best friend died)

I just came upon paperwork that was with that truly wonderful comforting gift.

It was a most lovely pale blue (like the sky) " prayer shawl "

My friend said creating it she contemplated me while she made it and into it she

focused good thoughts, prayers, healing, comfort. She said it gave her great

pleasure to create it and hoped I could feel the love that was within its

comforting folds.
