RA getting a bit more aggressive again

Hi Everyone:

I've had a very bad couple of weeks, especially over

this weekend, combination of very damp weather and

flaring of both RA and fibro. I was basically just a

lump on the couch wrapped in a blanket much of the

time, and having sooo much pain, I could barely walk.

Haven't been this bad in a while. My hands and wrists

are really flaring up, as are the tops of my feet and

ankles.

Went to my rheumy today and she is increasing my Mtx

from 10 to 12.5 to see if that helps a bit more with

the RA, I am still on Enbrel too. My OA is also

getting worse, especially in my knees. Because of the

increasing pain throughout my body, legs the worst,

and my joints, she is switching me from Tramadol

(Ultracet) to Ultram. I had been taking six Ultracet

a day, sometimes more, and now with the Ultram I will

take just one tablet a day of the 200mg. If that

dosen't work, she says we might go higher, but I

really don't want to do that. I am hoping that the

increase in Mtx and stronger pain med will have me

back on my feet (ouch) again.
