Guest guest
Hi Sue: Yes, I had x-rays done and she was able to see that I have signs of arthritic damage in my knees, more so on the right, of OA. There is probably some RA there as well, but she thinks more of the pain is caused by the OA because of the x-ray results. As far as my hand pain goes, she says the pain in the bases of my thumbs, my knuckles and middle joints of my fingers is from my RA, the visable changes I have in the tips of a couple of my fingers are from OA. Kind of gets confusing, but as of my last x-rays, there was no evidence of RA erosion, for which I am very grateful. I'll be having another body scan soon (the last one I had 3 years ago showed my bones were age 30! and I felt 80!), and more x-rays, so we shall see if there are any new findings.
