Ankle Pain/ swollen feet, need shoes

As long as someone mentioned shoes...

I am in search of a pair of shoes that will not further complicate the

pain issues I am having with my feet and ankles. Will be trying to

find a place that has those MBT shoes, soon. I have a pair of Keens

that up until my feet started to swell were great. Now I can't even

put them on and sit, without pain in the joints in my feet. I bought

a pair of Crocs the other day, a couple of sizes too big. I can at

least put my swollen feet in them and walk. At least when I have

enough pain meds to be able to stand up since my ankles are flaring in

a major way, complete with nodules forming. I could wear my Uggs, but

my hands and fingers hurt too bad to pull them on. Odd, my feet are

swollen, but my ankles aren't really all that swollen, just where the

ankle joint is. I take a water pill every day, without it I swell up

like a balloon. So does anyone have any suggestions for someone with

Size 7.5, extra wide foot, narrow heel, high arches, and some intense

foot and ankle pain? Thanks for any help.
